Bring it, hurricanes
'canes win, the Bruins shall be playing them in round 2. Personally, I couldn't be happier with the bruins draw. While I agree that the past isn't always an indicator of the future, it's good enough for actuaries and you have to like this match up from the point of view of the Bs. The Bruins had their way with Carolina during the regular season, going 4-0 against them, outscoring them 18-6. However, Carolina acquired Erik Cole at the deadline and have been playing like a much different team. That being said, hopefully this is an entertaining series in which the Bs come out on top.

Ok, now say it.
Another solid game by the Bs today. Looking forward to seeing who their opponent is in round 2. I may have more to share on this game later, but for the time being, let us all bask in the great feeling. It's been awhile.

Don't Say It...
Being a hockey player, I am part of the school of thought where superstitions are not only valid, but absolutely crucial to a team's (or individual's) success on the ice. I have always had a routine I follow, from the big habits (I don't like to reveal these) down to the order of the songs I listen to before a game.
One of the most sacred superstitions is that of not talking about certain occurrences which are on the verge of actually occurring. Whether it be talking about a pitcher going for a perfect game or to the Bruin's current situation. So, please, for the love of your team, don't talk about it until the event has occurred.
Go Bruins.

Plans
So, I know there are tons of hockey blogs out there by random people (just like me) but I do not plan this to be one of the blogs which reports news on the Bruins or anything like that. I plan to offer my take on Bruins news and sometimes other topic throughout the hockey world. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable regarding hockey (I have been playing since I was little) and will try to offer something profound for people to read. That being said, I will be definitely skewed towards the Bruins, as I have been a fan since I can remember (thanks, dad!). However, I will attempt to avoid blind homerism (I will be no Jack Edwards!). So, without further adieu, welcome to my blog and I hope this provides some sort of entertainment to you.
